Enviva LP is a global manufacturer of woody biomass to generate clean energy for homes and businesses. We have our operations throughout the mid-Atlantic and southeast U.S. regions and endeavor to support initiatives that will have a meaningful impact on the local communities where our presence is felt. Our outreach and philanthropic efforts primarily focus on three axes: sustainable forest management and restoration, promoting sustainability through education and local initiatives that support environmental initiatives.

Enviva, NFF Partner to Restore National Forests
Enviva announced that it will support the National Forest Foundation (“NFF”) in funding the planting of 13,000 trees in West Virginia and Mississippi.
Groundbreaking at Paradise Creek Park
In March, Enviva participated in the groundbreaking of an historic restoration project at Paradise Creek Park, next door to Enviva’s export terminal in Portsmouth, Va.
In the Classroom: Bearfield Primary School
In a new series, Enviva is introducing elementary, middle, and high school students to wood pellets. The first stop was to Bearfield Primary School in Ahoskie, N.C. just around the corner from Enviva Pellets Ahoskie.
Local residents were invited to visit Enviva’s Port of Chesapeake for a tour and a chance to learn more about Enviva’s operations.
Enviva Named Model River Star
Enviva Port of Chesapeake was honored as a Model Level River Star in January 2012 by the Elizabeth River Project, a local non-profit group in the Chesapeake, Va., working with residents and businesses to restore the Elizabeth River. The Port has established pollution prevention efforts stormwater, incorporated an even stronger environmental ethic at the site, mentoring other River Stars, and most recently oyster growing that will further wildlife habitat enhancement improvements.
Enviva Teams with Elizabeth River Project to Plant Oyster Beds
Enviva is growing the equivalent of 3,000 spat oysters in floats, in three spat-on-shell oyster cages.
